Had I to be swept off my feet, I'd choose Robert Smith, Adam Ant, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Captain Blood, the Black Corsaire, or... uhm...Dracula if he had some time to spare for the task.
I absolutely love Regency and Directory furniture, and Adam fireplaces and plaster cornices.
